The municipality of Lelystad and VolkerWessels Vastgoed signed a purchase and building agreement on Thursday 10 June 2010 for 25 ClimateReady® homes to be built in the Het Boeket area of the Warande district.
Alderman Jop Fackeldey signed on behalf of the municipality of Lelystad, while General Manager Dietmar Werner signed on behalf of VolkerWessels. The official transaction took place at the PROVADA International Exhibition on Real Estate, in which VolkerWessels participated under the slogan: Green is the thing to do!
Lelystad is undergoing a new expansion to the south of the city: the Warande district. Warande's theme is ‘Living in Green Abundance'. With approx 8,500 new homes and facilities, Warande is set to become a new city district in a fantastic location. Warande will not only be green because of its woods, wooded lots, broad lanes and the greenery on its spacious lots. Warande also borders directly on the De Hollandse Hout and the Oostvaardersplassen nature reserves.
Warande's accessibility is excellent. The district includes all kinds of homes and types of homes, from single lots to starter homes and everything in between. The Het Boeket area is part of the first sub-plan to be built in Warande.
Het Boeket VolkerWessels Vastgoed will soon sell and build 25 homes in Het Boeket. The project consists of 13 row homes, 8 semi-detached homes and 4 detached (linked) homes. Het Boeket is a spaciously designed area with wide green lanes. Furthermore, all homes will be built in accordance with the ClimateReady® principle, a sustainability principle developed by VolkerWessels Vastgoed.
