We are a Dutch group of companies with 15,000 employees in more than 100 operating companies and offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States.

Activities

We operate in a decentralised organisation structure. Our companies are active in the following areas:

Our strength lies in our extensive knowledge and know-how in all construction disciplines, collaboration in multidisciplinary and integrated projects, excellent geographic coverage, a solid financial position and motivated and expert staff.


The operating companies are independent companies with their own profit and market responsibility and are part of a close-knit internal network. We collaborate across the group in the areas of business development, legal affairs, staff development, insurance, finance and communication. Facilities are also shared in the fields of IT, equipment, purchasing and services.


The focal point of our activities is in the Netherlands. In addition there are offices in the United Kingdom, Belgium, Canada and the United States. The operating companies are involved in projects on a global scale. Our 15,000 employees give substance to our motto ‘Building together on home, work and mobility' each day.

Our stakeholders include: the Dutch national government, government ministries, provinces, municipalities, the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management (Rijkwaterstaat), ProRail, water boards, institutional investors, housing corporations, the corporate sector, institutional clients, consumers in the housing market, consortium partners, subcontractors, sector associations, waste disposal companies, energy suppliers, our staff, employer and employee organisations, environmental organisations, knowledge institutes, local communities and residents and financial institutions.
